When IV therapy makes sense

Nutrient absorption problems. Celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease and SIBO can prevent nutrients from being absorbed no matter how well you eat.

Iron deficiency. When oral iron is too slow, poorly tolerated or not absorbing. See our dedicated iron infusion page.

Fatigue and recovery. Where testing points to depletion, IV support can be part of a broader plan for energy, immune resilience or recovery from illness.

Hydration. Rapid rehydration with electrolytes during heat waves, illness or heavy training.

What a visit looks like

1. Intake with a naturopathic doctor, and lab work where indicated.

2. A formula chosen for your case, not a one size fits all drip.

3. The infusion, in a comfortable chair with a practitioner on site throughout.

Safety

IVs at Crossroads are administered by naturopathic doctors with advanced intravenous

therapy certification, in a regulated clinic, with screening beforehand. Several of our NDs,

including Dr. Brittany Tapp, Dr. Susan Goto and Dr. Jen Korsa, make IV therapy a core part of

their practice.

FAQ

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the goal. Your ND will give you a plan, not a subscription.

Is IV therapy covered by extended health?

The naturopathic visit component is often covered under naturopathic benefits. Check your plan.

Can I just book a drip without a consult?

No. New IV patients start with an intake. It is quick, and it is what makes the treatment safe and worth your money.
