Welcome to crossroadsnaturopathic.com (the "Site"), operated by Cross Roads Naturopathic Wellness Clinic Inc. ("Crossroads Naturopathic," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Site, blog, or online booking portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

1. Medical & Healthcare Disclaimer (No Doctor-Patient Relationship)

The content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Not Medical Advice: Articles, blog posts, service descriptions (including information on Naturopathic Medicine, IV Therapy, HRT, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Laboratory Testing, and Counselling), and other materials on this Site do not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the direct advice of a qualified naturopathic doctor, physician, or registered healthcare provider regarding any medical condition.
No Practitioner-Patient Relationship: Viewing this Site, sending an inquiry via email or contact form, or downloading resources does not establish a doctor-patient or practitioner-client relationship between you and Crossroads Naturopathic or any of its practitioners. A clinical relationship is only established after you have completed an official intake process, signed required informed consent forms, and been formally accepted as a patient during a scheduled consultation.
Medical Emergencies: Do not use this Site or our email/booking system for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

2. Appointments, Cancellations, and Clinic Policies

When you book an appointment online via our Jane App portal or by phone/email, you agree to abide by our clinic scheduling policies:

Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice: Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We require at least [24 / 48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment (including Naturopathic consultations, Acupuncture, Counselling, and IV Therapy sessions).
Late Cancellation & Missed Appointment Fees: Cancellations made with less than [24 / 48] hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment ("no-show"), may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to [50% / 100%] of the scheduled visit fee billed directly to the patient. Extended health insurance plans do not cover missed appointment fees.
Complimentary Meet & Greets: Complimentary 15-minute "Meet and Greet" sessions are intended solely to help prospective patients learn about a practitioner's approach to care. No medical advice, diagnosis, physical exams, or treatment plans are provided during a Meet and Greet.

3. Fees, Payment, and Insurance Coverage

Payment Terms: Payment for consultations, treatments, IV therapies, laboratory testing, and dispensary supplements is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
Extended Health Insurance: While many extended health benefit plans cover Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture/TCM, and Registered Counselling, coverage varies by plan. It is the patient’s sole responsibility to verify their individual insurance coverage limits and requirements. You remain fully responsible for any fees not covered or reimbursed by your insurance provider.
Dispensary & Lab Testing Returns: Due to health, safety, and quality-control regulations, opened supplements, custom herbal formulations, and completed laboratory testing kits are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our servers, or our online booking systems.
Use automated bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools to extract content from the Site.
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bookings or personal information through our scheduling portal.
Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code through the Site.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on crossroadsnaturopathic.com—including text, blog posts, graphics, logos, practitioner biographies, photographs, and design elements—is the property of Cross Roads Naturopathic Wellness Clinic Inc. or its content licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, diagnostic laboratories, supplement dispensaries, or booking platforms (such as janeapp.com). These links are provided for your convenience. Crossroads Naturopathic does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of external websites.

To the fullest extent permitted by British Columbia and Canadian law:

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
