Testing we commonly use

Hormone panels. Cycles, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, thyroid and more.

SIBO breath testing. For bloating, IBS symptoms and suspected bacterial overgrowth.

Food sensitivity testing. Used carefully, alongside elimination work, and explained honestly: we will tell you what these tests can and cannot show.

Nutrient status. Iron and ferritin, B12, vitamin D and related markers.

Standard bloodwork. Ordered directly, with results explained in plain language, in as much time as that takes.

How it works

Testing starts with a consultation, because a test without a clinical question is just an

expense. Your ND recommends specific tests, you complete them (in clinic, at a local lab or

with an at home kit depending on the test), and results are reviewed with you line by line.

Can you order regular blood tests like a family doctor?

Yes. NDs in BC can order a wide range of conventional bloodwork. Some tests carry private lab fees; we will tell you costs before anything is ordered.

Are food sensitivity tests legitimate?

They are one tool, useful in some cases and oversold in others. We use them alongside clinical assessment and elimination protocols, and we will be straight with you about confidence levels.
